The Marketing Specialist position will work closely with the VP of Communication & Administration on various aspects of advertising, public relations, communications, social media, collateral/signage, event planning, and creative projects related to H.J. Martin and Son divisions and surrounding companies. This role is crucial in managing the company's brand presence and ensuring effective communication across multiple platforms. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing multiple projects and deadlines, demonstrating excellent time management skills. This includes overseeing all company brands and implementing brand standards for documents and communications. The role also involves planning and executing company events, creating and developing visual assets for advertising and online presence, and managing printing projects for both internal collateral and client projects. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist will contribute to the social media strategy and execution for various companies, including platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, while also interacting with customers professionally via these channels. Analyzing social media statistics to inform the company's marketing strategy is a key responsibility, as is researching current and emerging trends to enhance marketing efforts. The Marketing Specialist will also be tasked with writing and distributing company press releases, blogs, and case studies, managing photography assets, and organizing photo shoots. Collaboration with the marketing team on special projects and managing client needs for the Martin Communications agency are also essential components of this role. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support team members and ensure the efficient functioning of the business.
