About the position

Ritz Safety is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their Marketing Department at the Corporate Headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. This full-time role focuses on strategizing and executing marketing campaigns, particularly in social media marketing, content creation, and design. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance marketing initiatives and optimize social media engagement, contributing to the company's business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter).
  • Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to drive brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Design social media posts, ads, and other marketing materials using Canva.
  • Edit videos for social media and promotional content.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of social media campaigns, providing insights and optimizing future content strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall marketing goals and branding.
  • Manage social media calendars and coordinate content delivery across multiple channels.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to ensure marketing strategies remain relevant.
  • Assist in the creation of digital and print marketing materials for promotional campaigns.
  • Support co-op advertising efforts and manage relationships with suppliers as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation.
  • Proficiency in Canva and experience with graphic design principles.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter) and their marketing potential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for content.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the PPE, Safety, or Industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or other marketing automation platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies.
