About the position

The position involves coordinating and ordering advertising signage through the creative department, maintaining property signage for Edgewater, Aquarius, Laughlin Event Center, and Edge Pavilion. The role includes tracking the progress of marketing projects to ensure timely completion and assisting with events, promotions, and entertainment, including planning, set-up, and tear down.

Responsibilities

  • Open and monitor creative jobs/requests for all collateral and media applications.
  • Perform proper follow-up for each job including proofing and tracking to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain monthly property signage and other collateral, including property signage location map.
  • Serve as a marketing department representative and address questions or concerns regarding marketing topics.
  • Monitor and maintain correct usage of branding and property specifications on all collateral and media applications.
  • Assist with planning marketing events/promotions/entertainment and support property marketing teams with day-to-day functions.
  • Order marketing items through the purchasing system and monitor marketing inventory.
  • Learn company-specific computer programs including Signalive, Kiosk Management System, Workamajig, etc.
  • Track process of promotions from conception to finish and resolve any issues delaying completion.
  • Assist with execution of events/promotions/entertainment including planning, set-up, and tear down.
  • Ensure rules are complete, operationally sound, and compliant with gaming regulations for all promotions and events.
  • Monitor company websites and assist with executing changes/additions.
  • Assist with production and distribution of in-house flyers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years marketing or advertising experience preferred.
  • Prior gaming or hospitality experience in the marketing department preferred.
  • Thorough working knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills (internal or external).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.
