About The Position

The Master Data Analyst at Siemens will support Product Life Cycle Management by ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and quality of product master data in SAP and other integrated systems. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate and complete master data to support Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain Operations. The analyst will work closely with local and global data management teams to uphold data governance policies and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Material Master Data Management or equivalent.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze, filter, and organize data to present scenarios and recommendations.
• Experience in developing enhancements and automation of SAP tools.
• Experience in streamlining business processes for greater efficiency with automation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and business audiences.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Winshuttle or other scripting tools.
• Experience using STEP MDM.
• Proficiency in business intelligence software such as Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau.
• Master of Science in Data or Business Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Set up, support, and maintain product master data through the entire product life cycle.
• Measure, improve, and certify the quality and integrity of material data.
• Ensure that the data supports the needs of the business.
• Define and uphold data governance policies and procedures.
• Analyze, evaluate, prioritize, and solve master data deficiencies with operational impacts.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvement initiatives related to data governance.
• Participate in data definition, modifications, and process testing in support of business and IT.
• Create ad hoc data extracts and reports to support projects and data analysis.
• Support Product Managers in the creation of new products and execution of changes in SAP and STEP MDM.
• Monitor changes and ensure proper implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve the change order process.
