About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Less than 1 year of related experience in receiving, warehouse operations, cycle counting, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ability to effectively communicate and follow instructions both verbally and in writing.
• Must be certified to drive a forklift or capable of becoming certified.
• Ability to use pallet jacks and other tools, and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a daily basis.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Word.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of MFG Pro System preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with peers to achieve shared departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase parts and finished goods and store them in appropriate warehouse locations using first in, first out.
• Participate in verification and reconciliation of inventory on daily cycle counts.
• Pick and accumulate products and supplies according to sales order packing lists.
• Package, label, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring protection from damage during transit.
• Verify shipment orders by auditing and checking items on packing slips for accuracy.
• Monitor shelf-life material expiration dates and inventory levels of packing and shipping materials.
• Pick and package replenishment shipments to the European distribution center.
• Book shipments online with carriers and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Identify and solve inventory issues while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
