About The Position

The Material Handler position at Aerotek involves handling various materials, including raw and finished goods, while utilizing warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The role is essential for shipping, fulfillment, and receiving functions, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with safety and GMP guidelines. This position operates on a 2nd shift schedule, providing opportunities for overtime based on demand.

Requirements

• Experience in receiving products using a forklift (stand-up and sit-down).
• Experience in a warehouse setting or logistics.
• Experience working within a GMP environment (worked around/with materials in a food grade, medical device, or chemicals environment).

Responsibilities

• Utilize warehouse equipment including the forklift, pallet jack, RF scanner, and other related tools.
• Responsible for picking orders by locating materials within inventory/stock.
• Complete written and digital documentation as needed, ensuring accurate record keeping.
• Select appropriate tanks based on manufacturing requirements and batch size.
• Pick required raw materials from the raw material warehouse as per the formula.
• Scan raw materials using a barcode scanner to ensure lot number and quantity accuracy.
• Stage raw materials and add them to the tank according to work order manufacturing instructions.
• Prepare outbound shipments through packaging, palletizing, and staging of shipment.
• Follow GMP, safety guidelines, and procedures.
