About the position

The Material Handler at Rang Technologies Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting production operations by managing the movement, transfer, and organization of materials. This position involves performing inventory transactions in Oracle and ensuring timely delivery of products to production areas to fulfill work orders. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment while operating various material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Stage materials in designated areas and maintain organization of the materials.
  • Maintain a clean work environment at all times while performing Material Handler duties.
  • Operate forklift, walkie rider, order selector, or pallet jack as needed to provide materials to production areas.
  • Pick and pull materials from the warehouse or Kanban areas while performing Oracle transactions.
  • Weigh, verify, and stock returns from production back to warehouse or Kanban locations.
  • Verify that part, lot, quantity, and location are correct when pulling for any location.
  • Move finished goods from staging hall to warehouse to ensure area is clear.
  • Perform label control to ensure that all information is correct.
  • Reconcile work orders and ensure correct materials are issued and all transactions have been performed.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and zone counting as instructed.
  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Perform shift tasks as required.
  • Pull and transact move orders and material requests.
  • Fix Oracle errors as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, perform basic calculations, and navigate through complex computer programs accurately.
  • Must have good oral and written skills and be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must have open availability and be able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule if needed.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift experience is required.
  • Oracle experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year or more related experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age.

Benefits

  • Contract position with a pay rate of $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.
  • Expected hours: 40 per week.
  • 12-hour shifts available for both day and overnight schedules.
