About The Position

The Material Handler position involves a variety of tasks related to shipping and receiving. Responsibilities include receiving and storing incoming shipments, inspecting them for damage, and ensuring proper storage. The role also entails packing goods for shipping, preparing shipment information, and assembling crates. Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery and preparing necessary documentation such as invoices and bills are key components of the job. Additionally, the Material Handler will manage the loading and unloading of products from trucks, maintain records, and keep up with safety requirements and shipping regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist the team. The position requires good organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including assisting the NDT department as needed.
