About the position
The Material Handler position at our Winamac client involves assisting with daily shipping, receiving, and inventory functions within the Shipping Department. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations and requires proficiency in forklift operation. The position is full-time and offers a competitive hourly wage.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily shipping, receiving, and inventory functions.
- Pack and ship out crates and aftermarket parts orders.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Deliver material to Hoist mount and build departments as needed.
Requirements
- Must have previous forklift experience.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with team members.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be safe and responsible.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work long periods on your feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to climb on/off truck throughout the day.
