About the position
As a Meat/Produce Team Supervisor at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Fresh area of the store is fully stocked and maintained to the highest standards. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the Meat and Produce associates, ensuring that they are effectively rotating products and adhering to proper food safety standards. You will be responsible for moving incoming merchandise out to the sales floor and ensuring that Fresh displays are not only maintained but also presented in an appealing manner throughout the day. This position requires a hands-on approach, as you will be actively involved in the daily operations of the department, guiding your team to meet performance goals and maintain quality standards. In addition to supervising the team, you will also be tasked with training new associates, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. You will monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering products, and ensure that all safety and sanitation protocols are followed. Your leadership will be essential in creating a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with management and other departments to ensure a seamless operation within the store. Requirements
