The individual will maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment, complete risk assessments prior to operations, and ensure that facility equipment and tooling are accounted for and operating efficiently. The Mechanic II will also be responsible for troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance on mechanical tools and equipment, completing required documentation accurately, and collaborating effectively with team members to meet production schedules. The position requires the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, and involves physical activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending. The Mechanic II will be expected to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat. The role also necessitates the interpretation of engineering specifications and drawings to perform complex assembly and disassembly tasks, as well as the operation of forklifts and overhead cranes, with appropriate licensing and certification.
