About the position

The Evendale Defense Combat Propulsion High Pressure Turbine Airfoil Lead Design Engineer at GE Aerospace is responsible for the design and analysis of turbine airfoils for F110 sustaining and NPI programs. This role involves applying sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards while collaborating with team members and customers to resolve technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
• Adhere to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
• Develop conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline.
• Collaborate with others to solve issues and develop strong customer relationships.
• Document, plan, market, and execute programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Highly motivated with exceptional communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve technical design challenges with sound documentation, planning, and program management skills.
• Experience with finite element analysis software such as ANSYS and 3D modelling software such as NX Unigraphics.
• Experience with manufacturing of aerospace components.
