About the position

The Mechanical/Electrical Engineer position focuses on the design and development of medical devices, requiring expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering principles. The role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with medical device standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Implement VAVE methodologies and tools in design processes.
• Oversee the medical device development lifecycle and ensure adherence to relevant standards.
• Design electrical mechanical systems and select appropriate electrical components.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Plan projects effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Coordinate onsite and offshore teams for project execution.
• Design electrical circuits and manage engineering change processes.
• Interact frequently with suppliers for quotations, sample parts, and prototypes.
• Conduct design verification and maintain documentation for electromechanical products.

Requirements

• Experience in VAVE methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of the medical device development lifecycle and standards.
• Experience in electrical mechanical system design.
• Proficiency in electrical component selection and evaluation.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
• Strong project planning skills.
