As a Mechanical Engineer on Olsson's Facilities Engineering and Design team, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative solutions specifically tailored for the healthcare sector. This position requires a licensed Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about improving healthcare facilities through effective engineering practices. You will be responsible for performing standard engineering techniques and procedures, applying sound judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications as necessary. Your contributions will be vital in generating ideas and creating designs that adhere to the highest standards of quality and efficiency for healthcare projects. In this role, you will engage in various engineering duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing plans for healthcare projects of varying sizes. You will assist in preparing project documents while maintaining a thorough understanding of project scope, schedule, and budget. Conducting process design calculations, analyzing reports, and preparing cost estimates will be part of your responsibilities to assess project feasibility.
