About the position

The Sr. Mechanical Engineer position at Tech USA involves leading the design and development of electrical systems for various projects, particularly in sectors such as aerospace, food & beverage, and pharmaceuticals. The role requires extensive experience in creating construction documents and collaborating with other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system plans and perform calculations for electrical systems including power, lighting, grounding, data/tel, access controls, and fire alarm.
• Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis for assigned projects.
• Develop construction documents including plans, details, and specifications.
• Coordinate work with in-house architects, structural, and mechanical engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a sound knowledge of electrical fundamentals as they relate to building systems.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• PE license strongly preferred or ability to obtain license within a year.
• Experience in healthcare and/or labs.
• Experience in Revit MEP highly desired.
• LEED AP BD+C preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Expert in AutoCad.
• Proficient in lighting and energy programs and Excel.
• Knowledgeable in Revit.
• Experience in educational or hospitality sectors.
