About the position

We are seeking a talented and bilingual Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team specializing in high-quality pumping solutions for a diverse range of industries. The ideal candidate will possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license and have a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, particularly in pump systems. This role is crucial in supporting our pump sales operations and requires effective communication with our Spanish-speaking clients. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to sales teams and clients, ensuring the correct selection and application of pump systems. In this position, you will design and optimize pump systems to meet client specifications and industry standards. Conducting site visits and inspections to assess and resolve technical issues will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also develop and deliver technical presentations and training to clients and internal teams in both English and Spanish, showcasing your ability to communicate complex engineering concepts effectively. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to develop innovative solutions and improve our product offerings. Additionally, you will prepare detailed engineering reports, documentation, and project proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Supporting business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting in the preparation of sales proposals will also be part of your role. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or willing to obtain within the next 2-3 years.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the pumping industry.
• Strong understanding of pump design, operation, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD, Inventor or similar).
