About The Position
Celanese's Cellulose Acetate manufacturing facility in Narrows, Virginia, colloquially known as, "Celco", rests on the banks of the New River. Celco has manufactured Cellulose Acetate in various forms since 1939 and has a rich history as a cornerstone of the larger community. Situated in the greater Blacksburg area, Celco employs approximately 1000 full time and contract employees. The Baling Reliability Engineer provides the technical expertise on all matters of reliability engineering, assessment, and monitoring for all Baling process equipment as a key part of the operations organization. This position focuses on enhancing equipment reliability through analysis, along with some first response, day-to-day troubleshooting of equipment problems.
