About the position
The Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) role at C&W Services is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, and control systems within a fulfillment/distribution center. This position includes a comprehensive training program that combines classroom learning with on-the-job training, ultimately leading to a promotion to Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT).
Responsibilities
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during training and on-the-job learning.
- Perform scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance on systems and equipment.
- Install, repair, adjust, and test equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Analyze technical specifications of mechatronic systems and components.
- Learn and work with PLCs alongside Automation Engineers in a lab setting.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
- Ability to enroll in and attend a 12-week training program at designated colleges.
- Commitment to complete one year of On-the-Job Learning (OJL) after training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts.

- Experience in an electrical, mechanical, or controls field.
