About the position

The Paid Social Media Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing paid social media campaigns on behalf of our clients, to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics, as well as the ability to understand our target audiences and evaluate performance. In-platform campaign activation, management, and optimization are core to this role. The Media Planner, Paid Social, is responsible for internal account communication, including project updates, strategic collaboration, and report development. They may also handle external communications with platform and data partners. Flexibility in task management and prioritization is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit).
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage social media ad campaigns in-platform and platform ad management tools, ensuring campaigns adhere to best practices, follow quality assurance process, and maintain compliance.
  • Responsible for invoice tracking, overall budget allocation, campaign pacing, and financial actualization and accountability.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Prepare regular reports on cross-platform performance, provide actionable insights, and optimize accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal counterparts (Social Media Leadership, Media Planning, Account Team, etc.) to align social media efforts with overall brand strategic imperatives and goals.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, plus professional experience.
  • 1-2 years proven experience as a Media Planner, in Paid Social / Social or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and ad types.
  • Experience in Meta strongly preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong math aptitude and organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office — Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
