About the position

Are you passionate about paid media and scaling businesses through user acquisition growth? Do you have passion for the PPC industry and getting the most out of your campaigns? We are looking for a world class media buyer to help us scale our Bankrate.com presence driving down funnel performance through paid media arbitrage. We are looking to grow our paid media strategy into the new world focused more on Social, Native, and Display through world-class data tracking, top of the line creative, and compelling content.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute innovative paid media campaigns focused on driving affiliate arbitrage at scale working with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage strategic vision and execution of campaigns across Social, Native, and Display platforms.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations to scale campaigns quickly and profitably.
  • Translate a complex competitive landscape into actionable insights for the team to execute on.
  • Work with external vendors to amplify your impact and drive results at scale.
  • Get deep into the data and tracking of our campaigns helping our team build a sustainable paid media platform.
  • Use tools like SQL, LLMs, GTM, and Python to dive deeper into the data and understand our paid media tracking and attribution.

Requirements

  • Media Buyers with a passion to use world class experiences and economics to drive profitable paid media campaigns.
  • 3-6 years of experience of data-driven marketing with experience directly driving down funnel affiliate arbitrage preferred.
  • Strong analytical background in marketing specifically. Ability to identify marketing trends and improve performance through optimization.
  • Ability to collect, mine, and manipulate data from disparate data sources, with a willingness to dig deeper and understand the process that creates data.
  • Significant experience in Social, Native, and Display platforms.
  • Experience working with creative teams to build paid media specific creative assets that will drive down funnel performance.
  • Expert when it comes to tracking and attribution including usage of GTM, pixeling, and server-to-server uploads.
  • Self-starter with willingness to drive the business forward and take ownership of tasks, tactics, and strategy.
  • Flexibility with evolving strategy a must.
  • Preferred understanding of the financial services industry / paid media landscape.
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels of the marketing and product organizations, ranging from Analysts to Senior Leaders and external vendors.
