About the position

You’re a marketing professional who has experience researching, planning, negotiating and buying traditional media and measuring campaign results. You enjoy engaging with people and negotiating media to secure the best deal and highest value. You enjoy working with other marketing professionals to create holistic marketing strategies that include paid digital media, public relations, social media, SEO, creative and websites. You can develop media strategies with a focus in traditional media tactics, and also measure the effectiveness of those campaigns and provide insights on performance. You have an understanding and experience with digital marketing and programmatic media buying. This is a hybrid position, working weekly in our Little Rock office and remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute media strategies for a designated list of clients.
  • Work with an integrated team of marketing professionals.
  • Utilize tactics including TV, CTV, Radio, Online Radio, OOH, Print, and direct placement of online media.
  • Report on the performance of media tactics and recommend optimizations.
  • Reconcile media financials monthly.
  • Collaborate with media vendors to maximize value for clients.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills.
  • High level of expertise in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experience in planning, negotiating, building partnerships, and buying linear media, such as TV, Radio, Outdoor, Print, and Sponsorships.
  • Experience in DSPs, Connected TV, and programmatic online radio is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in co-op-funded advertising is preferred but not required.
  • Detail-oriented, strong financial acumen, and the ability to reconcile media financials.
  • Experience in performance marketing with measurable outcomes.
  • A curious problem solver who’s energized to find answers and solutions.
  • An excellent communicator who can articulate media strategies to experts as well as novices.
  • An effective negotiator who can collaborate with media vendors to maximize value for clients.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred but not required.
  • Industry experience of 3+ years in media buying and planning media.

  • Experience in DSPs, Connected TV, and programmatic online radio.
  • Experience in co-op-funded advertising.
