About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification (e.g., RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA).
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of medical assistant experience.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of patient care activities in the Resource Team department.
• Provide clinical and nursing support across various medical subspecialties.
• Assist in the completion of departmental competency assessments during the orientation period.
• Ensure high-quality care is delivered to patients and their families.
