About the position
The Medical Assistant (MA) position at Marina ObGyn involves supporting both front office and back office operations in a women's health clinic. The role requires a certified Medical Assistant to provide excellent customer service, assist with patient care, and ensure a welcoming environment for patients. The MA will work in either the Long Beach or Carson office, with occasional rotations between the two locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake and triage
- Perform vital signs and basic medical procedures
- Maintain patient records in the EMR system
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Support front office operations as needed
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (MA) certificate
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform vital signs and triage
- Entry-level experience in a medical setting
