They will assist patients with the sign-in process, respond to their needs, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. The Medical Receptionist will also manage the patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance eligibility, collecting copayments, and scheduling future appointments. Additionally, they will support the financial responsibilities of the practice by staying informed about reimbursement and billing procedures, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining accurate records of daily cash receipts. The Medical Receptionist will also be responsible for monitoring office supply inventory, managing patient records, and adapting their work schedule to meet the needs of the practice. This may include working additional hours as needed and being willing to travel to various locations within a 30-minute radius of their home.
