Advanced Family Chiropractic is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical setting. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, and as such, must possess a friendly demeanor and professional attitude. The position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently. In this role, the Medical Receptionist will greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring that they feel welcomed and valued. Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining appointment calendars will be a key responsibility, along with verifying patient insurance information and processing payments. The Medical Receptionist will also be responsible for answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Maintaining electronic medical records using the clinic's systems is essential, as is assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry. Additionally, the Medical Receptionist will coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed. Responsibilities
