Medical Technologist Generalist - Full Time Nights

About the position

Medical Technologist provides professional, competent, safe, appropriate direct patient care in the analysis of samples from patients age newborn and older; management of all documentation related to testing and resulting, management of communication between the Laboratory and ancillary and off campus sites, both verbal and hardcopy documents. Maintains a professional, cooperative interaction with all hospital departments, medical staff, and the public in keeping with the mission and philosophy of Manatee Memorial Hospital. Demonstrates Service Excellence. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, competent, safe, appropriate direct patient care in the analysis of samples from patients age newborn and older.
• Manage all documentation related to testing and resulting.
• Manage communication between the Laboratory and ancillary and off campus sites, both verbal and hardcopy documents.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• State of Florida Medical Technologist License.
• ASCP Certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year medical technologist experience.
