Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret analyses on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques.
  • Provide medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability in laboratory test results.
  • Conduct various laboratory tests as required by medical staff.
  • Maintain compliance with Mercy Service Standards and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Up to 3 years of acceptable clinical laboratory experience as a certified MLS/MT or equivalent, or certification eligible new MLS graduate.
  • Current certification as MT/MLS or categorical certification through ASCP or equivalent.
