About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license and experience in bacteriology. While prior microbiology experience is preferred, we are open to considering newly minted technologists with relevant intern or clinical experience in microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare samples for analysis.
• Isolate and identify microorganisms through staining, culturing, and testing.
• Analyze microbial growth patterns.

Requirements

• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
• Experience in bacteriology
• Ability to collect and prepare samples
• Skills in isolating and identifying microorganisms
• Proficiency in analyzing microbial growth patterns

Nice-to-haves

• Microbiology experience preferred
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Knowledge of medical technology and hematology
• Strong experience in microbiology and bacteriology
