About the position
As a Medical Technologist with Medical City Arlington, you will be part of an organization devoted to giving back to the community. You will perform and demonstrate proficiency in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory, ensuring the best experience for patients through a commitment to service, safety, and professionalism. Your role will involve performing chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures, maintaining records of performance and patient results, and assisting with laboratory training programs as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
- Maintain records of performance, patient results, and quality control.
- Maintain equipment and record preventive and remedial maintenance.
- Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist, Certified Medical Lab, Certified Lab Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Lab Scientist certification is required.
- At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
