About the position

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of clinical tests.
• Conduct various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank, and/or bacteriological tests.
• Obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required.
• Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required.
• Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology required.
• One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience required.
• Good oral and written communication skills essential.
