About The Position

The Mental Health Associate (MHA) position at San Marcos Treatment Center is a part-time role focused on providing a safe and therapeutic environment for children aged 6 to 17 in a psychiatric residential treatment facility. The MHA is responsible for implementing daily program schedules, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. This role is essential in supporting the clinical team and enhancing the emotional and social functioning of young patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Able to pass a Criminal Background check and Pre-Employment Drug Screening
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Psychiatric experience preferred (2 years)
