About the position

The Manager of the Foundation at Prisma Health is responsible for directing and coordinating a comprehensive fundraising and development program. This role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and soliciting capital and major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations to meet the fundraising goals of Prisma Health. The position involves managing daily operations, developing volunteer leaders, and enhancing donor relationships through effective stewardship programs.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate a comprehensive fundraising and development program.
  • Implement, administer, and evaluate the Foundation and fundraising efforts to meet annual goals.
  • Manage daily operations of the Foundation, including staff support and budgeting.
  • Develop and recruit volunteer leaders for various boards and committees.
  • Implement and evaluate a stewardship program to enhance donor relationships.
  • Provide public relations support regarding donors and volunteers, including writing proposals and newsletters.
  • Manage and motivate volunteers in their roles to accomplish annual goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Five years of progressive responsible fundraising experience with a proven track record in major gifts.
  • Management/supervisory experience is required.
  • Campaign experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and data entry.
