About the position

ECS is seeking a Mid-Level Programmer/Exploitation Specialist to work in our Washington DC Area office. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role involves supporting the National Security Group (NSG) strategy by creating automated collection models and dynamic analytic models, employing workflow automation, and any other automation processes and products as assigned by the government customer. The successful candidate will refine, enhance, and improve the operational performance of automated solutions by evaluating performance data, engaging in regular customer interaction, and conducting standardized maintenance cycles as needed by the government customer. In this position, you will apply data science and visual programming trade-craft to support and streamline analysis tasks as identified by key stakeholders and the government. You will be responsible for enhancing technical solutions to problems related to intelligence integration, automated collections, tipping and cuing, information sharing, and visualization. Conducting extensive collections and analytic modeling, data processing, data mining, and visualization will also be key responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct gap analysis on existing technologies and processes, and communicate clearly and concisely with customers on the progress of projects, processes, and emerging technologies. Proactive communication of data-driven findings and automation efforts to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential. You will design, integrate, and maintain Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) processes that utilize automation tools or scripts to drive predictive, activity-based automated imagery collection. Close collaboration with the customer will be necessary to engage in customer elicitation to identify processing problems due to procedures, tools, and services, as well as workarounds that may need a permanent solution and identify gaps in tools and technology. Training and integrating new tools, processes, and capabilities for use in imagery collection orchestration will also be part of your responsibilities. You will support emerging requirements as assigned by the government, and local travel within the Washington DC area will be required, along with occasional travel outside of the primary work location and limited overseas travel.
