About the position

Alpha Omega Integration LLC is seeking a talented Mid-Level Technical Writer to join our team, either in Ft. Collins, CO or remotely. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and an Associate's degree. The Technical Writer will play a crucial role in applying industry best practices to assist customers by utilizing a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and identify relevant issues in selecting application software packages. The role involves assessing the operational and functional baseline of organizations and defining the direction and strategy for engagements, ensuring that organizational needs are effectively addressed. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying information technology inadequacies, generating functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations, and participating in strategic assessments and design reviews. This position is integral to the success of our engagements, as it requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The Technical Writer will coordinate the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks, ensuring that the solutions align with the organizational goals and enhance overall IT operations. Responsibilities

  • Apply common best practices for the industry to customers using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and identify relevant issues in selecting application software packages.
  • Assess the operational and functional baseline of organizations and define the direction and strategy for engagements.
  • Identify information technology inadequacies and deficiencies affecting functional areas' ability to support organizational goals.
  • Generate functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations in a cross-functional area mode throughout the organization.
  • Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products.
  • Coordinate the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in creating conceptual business models and identifying issues in selecting application software packages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess organizational needs and define strategies for engagement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Certification in technical writing or related areas.
