Mid-Senior Level Test Automation Engineer

About the position

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, scalability, and resilience of our core platform services. You will focus on test automation, proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive best practices in quality and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, resilient platform services through strong testing and automation.
• Maintain visibility into production health with proactive monitoring and quick issue resolutions.
• Improve CI/CD and DevOps processes to increase team efficiency and release confidence.
• Contribute to scalable infrastructure and AWS migrations to support business growth.
• Guide and mentor other Software Engineers in Test (SETs), strengthening the team's overall expertise.
• Influence Trio planning and engineering decisions, ensuring quality remains a core priority.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test or a related role.
• Hands-on coding experience in test automation, backend, or infrastructure development.
• Strong understanding of automated testing, observability, and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and contract testing to improve software delivery and integration reliability.
• Ability to drive quality early in development and integrate improvements throughout the software lifecycle.
• Proactive identification of gaps in test coverage, observability, and defect prevention.
