About the position
Become part of the PUSD Family! The position is for a Middle School Art Teacher for grades 7 and 8 at Prescott Mile High Middle School. The role is set to begin on July 21, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Teach art to middle school students in grades 7 and 8.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Assess and evaluate student performance.
- Engage students in creative and critical thinking.
- Participate in school events and activities.
Requirements
- Valid AZ Teaching certificate (PUSD can assist with a short-term certificate for otherwise qualified applicants).
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching art at the middle school level.
- Ability to lead after-school clubs or coaching athletics.
