About the position
As a Minit Stop Customer Service Associate - Cook, you are responsible for assisting your team with the day to day running of the store's Food Service program. In your role, you have the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service by carrying out tasks including food preparation and cooking, observing continuously high standard of food handling, cleanliness and sanitation and ensuring the back of store area remains clean and safe at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day to day running of the store's Food Service program.

- Perform food preparation and cooking.
- Observe high standards of food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Ensure the back of store area remains clean and safe.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
- Ability to understand basic functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions and company policies and procedures.
- Ability to resolve simple store related situations through understanding of store procedures.
- Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers in a clear, professional, and courteous manner.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of computers required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to a height of at least 4 feet.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must obtain a County Liquor Card and Safe Food Handlers Certificate within 60 days of hire.
