About the position

The Project Manager will lead and direct architectural and engineering (AE) project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination among clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities. This role involves overseeing all project activities, including planning, scheduling, staffing, and quality assurance, to meet profit goals and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct AE project teams through all project phases including programming, design, and construction administration.
• Assist in the proposal process and negotiate Owner/Architect Agreements.
• Prepare, implement, and monitor Project Plans and strategies.
• Manage client activities and contracts, ensuring adherence to agreements.
• Identify and secure additional service fees for work outside the original agreement.
• Develop and manage project schedules and coordinate tasks with the project team.
• Establish and monitor discipline hour budgets and staffing needs.
• Prepare contract forms for Owners and Consultants and ensure compliance.
• Schedule and manage design and technical reviews throughout the project phases.
• Participate in marketing efforts including client maintenance and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Professional Licensure.
• Minimum ten years' experience in AE or Client-Side Project Management.
• Extensive knowledge of professional services from marketing through project close-out.
• Experience in Mission Critical and/or Data Center design/development is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
