About the position

Melaleuca is looking for an outstanding Marketing Assistant Brand Manager to assist the Brand Team in executing key brand responsibilities under the direction of the Category Manager. The role involves managing product P&Ls, launch plans, and promotional strategies, driving the ideation and creation of brand ideas and concepts for new products, and performing market analysis of products and specific product concepts. The Marketing Assistant Brand Manager will also develop and manage product plans, marketing plans, and consumer research, while organizing and managing cross-functional project teams for assigned brands.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product P&Ls, launch plans and promotional strategies
  • Drive the ideation and creation of brand ideas and concepts for new products in marketing, R&D and cross functional brand teams
  • Identify key brand/product opportunities to build and expand Melaleuca brand portfolio
  • Perform market analysis of products and/or specific product concepts, reporting on emerging consumer and product trends
  • Develop Basis of Interest platforms for product concepts
  • Develop, implement, and manage Product Plans and Calendars for approved new product concepts
  • Develop, implement, and manage Marketing Plans for new and existing products
  • Analyze competitive product and develop product claims working with R&D and Legal
  • Develop and drive creation of brand story, including critical data to support key story elements
  • Develop and manage consumer research
  • Develop Copy Platforms for product package labeling
  • Analyze and develop packaging for assigned products
  • Organize and manage cross-functional project teams for assigned brands

  • General business skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
