About The Position

As a Mobile Engineer at CBRE, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, focusing on providing support, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment and systems to ensure they operate efficiently and meet applicable standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
  • Universal CFC certification and valid driver's license required.
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
  • Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed for repairs, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
  • Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation.
  • Oversee compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share knowledge of job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and related teams.
