About The Position

The position involves performing routine and non-routine maintenance activities on mobile equipment used in an underground and surface mining environment. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of mobile equipment, ensuring they are operational and safe for use.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Associates Degree or Certificate in Automotive or Diesel Technology preferred.
• Previous heavy equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous experience in an underground hardrock mine setting preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities.
• Conduct hour-based service on mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all mobile equipment on site.
• Work with equipment including drills, bolters, haul trucks, graders, dozers, tractors, light vehicles, and forklifts.
