About the position

We are seeking a skilled Model Based Manufacturing Engineer to support the creation and optimization of manufacturing models for part process definitions in fabrication planning. This role involves working with metallic and composite components for drives, airframes, rotors, and related systems. Using industry-leading tools, you will ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with engineering requirements throughout the fabrication process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, models, bills of materials (BOMs), technical specifications, quality documents, and departmental procedures to perform assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with design engineers to understand part specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure program implementation aligns with production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform initial machining runs to verify program accuracy and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results.
• Conduct post-machining inspections to confirm compliance with design specifications and address any discrepancies.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Digital Manufacturing / Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software; ideally Dassault Systemes Delmia / 3DExperience.
• Experience using Vericut for validation and simulation of manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and aerospace tolerances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes and industry-specific standards.
• Additional experience with aerospace manufacturing systems and composite material handling.
