About the position
Mortgage Loan Processors provide 'Simply the Best' customer service at all times. This position will process mortgage loan origination documentation for accuracy and adhere to secondary marketing guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Review delegated loan packages and prepare files for post-closing review
- Prepare and submit non-delegated & broker loans for underwriting review
- Correspond with clients to guide them through the process and obtain needed information
- Prepare broker loans for closing
- Identify and complete COC’s
- Complete pipeline management ensuring loans are in compliance with regulations
- Assist with day-to-day management duties and provide coverage when management is unavailable
- Lead projects and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues
- Organize and lead team meetings
- Assist team members with questions and training
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of mortgage processing experience required
Nice-to-haves
- 2 years of experience in a third party lending environment
- Excellent processing skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to exceed expectations in the areas of monthly units and SLA's
- Superior customer service and problem solving abilities
- Experience training others
- Ability to collaborate with team members and other departments on projects
