MRO Procurement Specialist

About the position

The MRO Procurement Specialist at Nephron Pharmaceuticals is responsible for analyzing costs, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor services to optimize supply chain efficiency. This role involves inventory management, placing purchase orders, tracking orders, and resolving pricing disputes, all aimed at improving quality and cost-effectiveness in procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze costs and negotiate contract details with vendors.
• Manage inventory and place purchase orders as needed.
• Track orders and resolve issues related to price disputes.
• Set up new vendors, including pricing agreements and payment terms.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of the procurement system, including purchase orders and supplier information.
• Inform suppliers of item rejections and finalize settlements for reimbursement or replacement.
• Continuously review existing pricing and negotiate savings with suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to track usage and inventory levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or data analytics preferred.
• Computer skills necessary; experience with inventory management and demand planning preferred.
• Solid communication and interpersonal relationship skills required.
• Specific expertise in procurement gained through education and experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple resources while maintaining accurate data.
• Willingness to adapt to changing organizational demands.
