About the position

The MRO (Maintenance, Repair, & Operations) Supply Chain Operations Specialist will serve as the corporate supply chain lead specific to the Plant Engineering organization needs at the designated facilities. They will provide subject matter expertise in supplier chain management, process excellence, tactical planning and execution, procurement, inventory management, supplier warranty, contract management, budget management, and maintain Enterprise Requirement Planning (ERP) duties related to Ariba, INFOR Cloud Suite, for non-stock, non-catalog requests.

  • Perform localized supply cost analysis and reporting
  • Manage supplier performance, including policy and contract adherence
  • Interact with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Promote proactive planning concepts

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, required
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • Minimum seven years in supply chain management, required
  • Health care knowledge, and MRO commodity management, preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Strong problem resolution, negotiating, analytical, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications) essential
  • Current and future trends practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures
  • Information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties
  • Application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; understanding of customer needs, expectations, and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations
