About the position

The Mulesoft Developer position involves developing, refactoring, and unit testing APIs to meet vendor specifications. The role requires collaboration with Technology Services and Agency clients, serving as the primary contact for integration-related issues. This contract position is based in Denver, CO, and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate enterprise systems using Mulesoft, Dataweave, and the Anypoint Cloud platform.
• Work with analysts to clarify requirements.
• Unit test work as it progresses.
• Interface with the project team and provide updates on integration status.
• Track work on an agile work tracking board and update status regularly.
• Provide estimates for tasks and raise issues early in the development process.
• Follow specifications in the backlog item provided by the analyst and vendor.
• Code according to a standards document and merge code as per standards.
• Modify build pipelines as necessary and fix bugs reported by the testing team.

Requirements

• MuleSoft Certified API developer
• 4+ years of experience in the Any-point Platform and cloud deployments
• 4+ years of experience with enterprise integration, design, implementation, and development
• Experience in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) using Mule runtimes
• Experience in designing RAML and YAML specs
• Queuing experience preferred (Rabbit MQ, Any-point MQ, etc.)
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and feedback loops preferred
• Experience with a test suite like Katalon or SoapUI.
