About the position

Applied ABC is seeking a Multimedia Marketing Specialist to enhance our marketing and communication efforts. This role is pivotal in creating and designing content that reflects our brand across various digital platforms. The Multimedia Marketing Specialist will be responsible for producing engaging and visually appealing content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and content creation, ensuring that our messaging is not only cohesive but also impactful. In this position, you will develop compelling copy for digital promotional programs and design graphics for a variety of materials including social media posts, e-newsletters, website content, banners, brochures, and tradeshow materials. You will also be tasked with building and maintaining a content calendar for our social media platforms, ensuring that we maintain a consistent posting schedule. Additionally, you will manage the exposure and performance analysis of our digital campaigns, providing insights to optimize our marketing strategies. The Multimedia Marketing Specialist will work closely with other team members to ensure that all marketing materials align with our mission of supporting children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. This role is essential in helping us communicate our message effectively and reach a wider audience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative, powerful, and persuasive copy for digital and electronic promotional programs.
  • Design visually appealing graphics for social media posts, e-newsletters, website content, banners, brochures, tradeshow materials, and direct customer communications.
  • Build and maintain a content calendar for social media platforms, ensuring a consistent posting schedule.
  • Manage exposure and performance analysis for social media, website, newsletters, and other digital campaigns.

Requirements

  • Proven graphic designing experience (3+ years)
  • A strong portfolio of graphics (print and web)
  • Familiarity with design software (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or Canva)
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics.
  • Experience with WordPress.
  • Experience with video editing and animation software.
