About the position

The Multi-Facility Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative support and daily operations of multiple nursing facilities in Northeast and Central Louisiana. This role involves training and supervising staff, ensuring compliance with accounting practices, and managing financial functions related to admissions, billing, and collections under the direction of the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and process Medicaid Pending applications
  • Prepare and submit applicable write-off requests per collection policy
  • Prepare daily deposits
  • Manage billing and collections
  • Oversee census activities
  • Supervise business office staff
  • Negotiate single case agreements
  • Process insurance authorizations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 3 years of experience with Medicaid/Medicare
  • 1 year of administrative experience preferred
  • 1 year of Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of laws and procedures affecting third-party coverage criteria and billing practices

Nice-to-haves
