About the position

The Multimedia Specialist I position at the University of Florida involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including multimedia specialists, instructional designers, and faculty, to plan, produce, edit, and publish video projects that serve instructional, informational, and marketing purposes. The role emphasizes the importance of accessibility, requiring the specialist to coordinate captioning and ensure that all produced media meets accessibility standards. This includes working on a variety of resources such as graphics, photos, animations, and interactive learning objects, as well as HTML pages that are integral to the educational process. The expected salary for this role ranges from $19.49 to $22.67 per hour, depending on education and experience.
