About the position

The Named Account Manager role at Arista Networks is a key position within the Sales organization, focused on expanding the Arista brand among existing and new retail accounts in the NYC metro area. The role requires building relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, and collaborating with systems engineers and technology partners to deliver compelling solutions that enhance customer value and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within existing and new retail accounts.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders to address business needs.
  • Meet with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels to present Arista's value proposition.
  • Work with Arista systems engineers to design and position compelling solutions.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate solutions.
  • Establish and manage key channel relationships in the territory.
  • Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on business reviews.
  • Conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours and technology forums.
  • Collaborate with Arista peers on marketing plans and best practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions and competitor strategies.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of technology sales experience.
  • Proven track record of direct selling into target accounts and exceeding sales targets.
  • Relevant data center or networking industry background.
  • Strong rolodex and relationships within retail accounts.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Previous selling experience and technical acumen in Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Routing, Data Center, or Cloud computing.
